CBS was once again the top network on Friday night but nothing even came close to a 2 demo on any network as Friday is getting older and older. At 8pm, new series A Gifted Man was up two tenths in viewers and even in the demo. Right now it is outperforming last year's Medium so I think CBS will be patient with this show. At 9pm, CSI: NY was up two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. At 10pm, Blue Bloods was down a tenth in viewers and the demo. The 9pm and 10pm numbers are probably close to as good as any show could do on Fridays.
FOX didn't have much good news to report as Kitchen Nightmares was down two tenths in viewers and the demo while Fringe tied a series low in the demo as it was even viewers and down a tenth in the demo from last week. Over on ABC, comedy repeats from 8-10pm did alright while 20/20 was up 1.3 million viewers and a tenth in the demo. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition moves to Fridays starting next week. NBC's Dateline NBC was down three tenths in viewers but up a tenth in the demo airing after low rated comedy repeats.
