ABC announced one more pilot pickup today with the comedy Speechless. It's unclear if there is more coming from ABC with pilots so we'll see.
Speechless is another comedy in the diverse family comedy wheelhouse that ABC has tapped into so well with shows like Black-ish, Fresh Off the Boat, and The Real O'Neals. This time, it looks at a family with a child with special needs. It stars Minnie Driver as a mom who will do anything for her family even as many challenges arise. It also stars John Ross Bowie, Mason Cook, Micah Fowler, Kyla Kennedy, and Cedric Yarbrough.
