On Tuesday night, ABC aired the finale of Dancing with the Stars. It was up a strong 4.6 million viewers and 1.1 demo points but still down a lot from the fall's finale and it posted its lowest finale numbers ever. ABC is hoping the all-star in the fall revitalizes this aging franchise. On FOX, American Idol posted decent numbers but nothing like what it did on the final Tuesday last year or in past years before that. At 9pm, the season finale of Glee was up 1.5 million viewers and four tenths in the demo from the 9pm episode last week. It looks like there is only so much of an upside even when there's an Idol lead-in. Finally on NBC, America's Got Talent was down 1.2 million viewers and a tenth in the demo from last week while a Dateline Anniversary Special was on par with the Fashion Star finale last week.
