On Monday night, FOX said goodbye to House after 8 years and 177 episodes. The series finale was up 2.2 million viewers and seven tenths in the demo. Though it was the best numbers since January 23, these finale numbers are a far cry from its heyday (it averaged 19.4 million viewers in 2006-07). It was a great show for FOX over the years but it was definitely time to end it. Over on NBC, America's Got Talent was down eight tenths in viewers and half a demo point from its season premiere last week. At 9pm, the series premiere of American Ninja Warrior did alright for summer numbers and could do ok in this slot. Finally on ABC, the final performance night of Dancing with the Stars was up a million viewers and three tenths in the demo while The Bachelorette was down six tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo from its season premiere last week.
