So NBC wasn't quite done on Friday as it picked up one final series - single camera comedy Next Caller Please starring Dane Cook. The show was very quiet during upfront season as higher profile projects like Downwardly Mobile and better testing shows like Daddy's Girls were passed over. The show features Cook as a satellite radio show host who's given a new, polar opposite co-host. There is also talk of a straight to series order for a pirates drama at midseason plus the Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane was delayed and could still get a midseason pickup.
