FOX's freshman comedy Raising Hope became the first new show to get a full season order. The show airs Tuesday nights at 9pm following mega-hit Glee and while it has not blown anyone away ratings-wise, it is well-ahead of FOX's other two new offerings - the cancelled Lone Star and soon-to-be-cancelled Running Wilde. It debuted to 7.3 million viewers and a 3.1 demo, was roughly the same in Week 2, and dropped to 6.2 million viewers and a 2.5 demo last night but there was also a substantial Glee drop from last week so its retention has remained about the same. It is likely to develop a relatively small but loyal audience this fall before it moves to a new time in the spring. It was planned for 8pm Wednesday in the spring but it's hard to tell where it will go as FOX usually looks much different than originally planned.

While Rhoda has an occasional good moment and even a couple decent episodes, it is a show that seems so wildly different from season one and not in a good way. Rhoda could never figure out what it fully wanted to be and only made it four and a half seasons as a result. Starring Valerie Harper as Rhoda Morgenstern (13 episodes) Julie Kavner as Brenda Morgenstern (13 episodes) Ray Buktenica as Benny Goodwin (11 episodes) Kenneth McMillan as Jack Doyle (9 episodes) Nancy Wa...
