On Monday night, ABC didn't get great news from The Bachelor, which dipped half a million viewers and two tenths in the demo for a series low for the veteran franchise. This season has really not been the year for reality shows and The Bachelor is starting to show its age on ABC. For now, the numbers are ok but ABC needs to hope it doesn't drop much further and perhaps even rise. At 10pm, Castle was up a nice 1.7 million viewers and three tenths in the demo from its last new airing when it aired after a weaker lead-in.
NBC was the only other network that was new. At 8pm, Who's Still Standing? was up six tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. While not overly impressive, it's not a terrible performance considering NBC has so many holes everywhere. At 9pm, Fear Factor remained a decent performer though it was down half a million viewers and a tenth in the demo. Finally at 10pm, Rock Center with Brian Williams was down eight tenths in viewers and four tenths in the demo, hitting a series low. This show will do absolutely nothing on Wednesdays, why is NBC moving it there?
