Another veteran CBS series has been renewed for another season on the heels of the How I Met Your Mother renewal. One of TV's top dramas, NCIS, has been renewed for an 11th season once CBS negotiated series star Mark Harmon's contract. Despite being in its tenth season, the drama is showing no signs of slowing down as it nearly just topped its all time viewership record. The series has already spun off one successful show in NCIS: Los Angeles and now there's a Los Angeles spinoff in the works which might mean that Tuesdays is an entirely NCIS night next season.
NCIS joins How I Met Your Mother as the only official CBS renewals but there are many other certain renewals including 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, The Big Bang Theory, Blue Bloods, CSI, Criminal Minds, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, Mike & Molly, NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest, Survivor, and (if contracts can be renewed) Two and a Half Men. Vegas, The Good Wife, The Mentalist, CSI: NY, and Undercover Boss could be considered bubble shows while Partners and Made in Jersey have already been yanked. Still to premiere is new drama Golden Boy, reality show The Voice, and a new season of veteran sitcom Rules of Engagement.
