On Wednesday night, ABC was in repeats from 8-9:30pm. At 9:30pm, week three of Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 tumbled 1.5 million viewers and six tenths in the demo from last week when it was behind a new Modern Family. A drop was expected but this was pretty severe. Still, let's reserve judgment until we see it air behind new shows again. At 10pm, Revenge was down eight tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. On CBS, Survivor was down two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. On NBC, Betty White's Off Their Rockers started off the night down two tenths in viewers but up a tenth in the demo. This show is really not doing badly for the peacock by their standards. The next two shows are though as Best Friends Forever was down a tenth in viewers and even in the demo and Rock Center was up 1.1 million viewers and three tenths in the demo. To close out the night, Law & Order: SVU was up six tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. Finally on FOX, American Idol was dead even with last week.

EPISODE GUIDES: Rhoda Season Five

On Thursdays, I go through classic series with a critical look at each season. Today I am looking at Season Five (the final season) of  Rhoda ! RHODA: SEASON FIVE 1978 13 episodes Rhoda' s final season was a truncated one as the show was cancelled in December 1978 after only 13 episodes had been produced (and only nine had aired). This feels like a continuation from season four in many ways except with the ill-advised split between Ida and Martin (more on that below). While  Rhoda  has an occasional good moment and even a couple decent episodes, it is a show that seems so wildly different from season one and not in a good way.  Rhoda  could never figure out what it fully wanted to be and only made it four and a half seasons as a result.
