ABC had their usual Friday night unscripted lineup. Supernanny was up nine tenths in viewers and three tenths in the demo from its last airing. Although that is a nice bump, it is still a very low number. Primetime: What Would You Do? followed and was up eight tenths in viewers and four tenths in the demo. Both Supernanny and Primetime had their best numbers since November 12. At 10pm, 20/20 was up a nice 2 million viewers and seven tenths in the demo from its last airing. Overall, these are slightly better numbers for ABC Friday.
CBS was new from 8-10pm. At 8pm, the first of the final three episodes of Medium aired and was up a tenth in viewers and even in the demo from its last airing. It could see a slight bump in its final two weeks but these numbers show why it did not make the cut. At 9pm, CSI: NY was down six tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. The viewer total is a season low, which is disappointing as many shows have gone up a bit this week. Finally a repeat of The Mentalist at 10pm delivered solid repeat numbers.
NBC aired a repeat of Minute to Win It at 8pm which still easily beat the numbers School Pride was receiving. It was followed by a two hour edition of Dateline NBC which was down nine tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo from its last airing. With 20/20 up, it's no surprise that Dateline was down as the two shows fight for the same general audience-type. FOX aired the Cotton Bowl in place of regular programming and got its best Friday night numbers in a long time.
