On Friday night, ABC had good news from season premieres of two unscripted shows - both Shark Tank and Primetime: What Would You Do? delivered solid premiere numbers and Shark Tank, specifically, did very well for 8pm. For what is likely cheap programming, ABC will certainly take numbers like these for Friday night as right now it looks stronger than two hours of the cancelled Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. At 10pm, 20/20 was stronger than usual as it was up 1.7 million viewers and a tenth in the demo.

Over on NBC, the penultimate week for Chuck was up six tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. Grimm showed some strength as it rebounded from last week's lows and was up and nice 1.2 million viewers and four tenths in the demo. It is time for NBC to move this show to Thursday at 10pm and bench The Firm to Fridays. It's the only new show for the peacock network that has shown any promise. At 10pm, Dateline NBC was up three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. Over on FOX, Kitchen Nightmares was up a tenth in viewers but down a tenth in the demo as Shark Tank is likely a cross-appeal show. At 9pm, Fringe was up three tenths in viewers and even in the demo.
