On a night where the East Coast was snowed in, many shows with new episodes went up. On CBS, Undercover Boss was up 1.4 million viewers and three tenths in the demo, Hawaii Five-0 was up six tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo, and Blue Bloods was up a million viewers and two tenths in the demo. For the dramas, these are new season highs. On FOX, Masterchef Junior was up three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo ahead of next week's finale while Hell's Kitchen was up two tenths in viewers and the demo. FOX announced today that Second Chance is being benched to Fridays and Hell's Kitchen will take its place at 9pm Wednesdays, effective immediately. On ABC, 20/20 was down a million viewers and three tenths in the demo. Finally on NBC, Dateline NBC was up four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo.

EPISODE GUIDES: Rhoda Season Five

On Thursdays, I go through classic series with a critical look at each season. Today I am looking at Season Five (the final season) of  Rhoda ! RHODA: SEASON FIVE 1978 13 episodes Rhoda' s final season was a truncated one as the show was cancelled in December 1978 after only 13 episodes had been produced (and only nine had aired). This feels like a continuation from season four in many ways except with the ill-advised split between Ida and Martin (more on that below). While  Rhoda  has an occasional good moment and even a couple decent episodes, it is a show that seems so wildly different from season one and not in a good way.  Rhoda  could never figure out what it fully wanted to be and only made it four and a half seasons as a result.
