NBC did not have nearly as much of a positive comedy sampling on Monday night with Telenovela's preview following The Voice. The Voice was down three tenths in viewers and even in the demo and was up in the year-to-year numbers. After Superstore got a 2.0/1.6 demo at 10pm last week, Telenovela got much more rejected from the audience of The Voice. It had a weak 1.4 demo at 10pm (only half of The Voice) and then it plummeted to a 0.9 demo at 10:30pm. I don't like either show's chances in the 8pm slot starting in January but I really don't like the chances for Telenovela. ABC had a night of limited holiday series. The season premiere of The Great Christmas Light Fight was down from last year's big 1.7 demo premiere. At 10pm, The Great Holiday Baking Show was down seven tenths in viewers and three tenths in the demo from last week's series premiere. Finally, CBS had a weak showing for Supergirl as it fell three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo, tying a series low. At 9pm, Scorpion was up three tenths in viewers and even in the demo. NCIS: Los Angeles took advantage of the lack of drama competition in the hour and it rose 1.7 million viewers and two tenths in the demo for season highs.
WINNER OF THE NIGHT: The Voice (NBC)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Telenovela (NBC)
