FOX announced today that it has returned
The Simpsons for two more seasons, taking it through 2016-17, which will be Season 28 (!) for the show. The show has been an institution for decades and now has a real chance at reaching an incredible 30 seasons. This came ahead of FOX's pickups and renewals. Still waiting for a renewal from FOX (but likely to get it) is
American Idol and
Bones.
The Mindy Project is on the bubble while it's not looking good for
The Following and
Backstrom and
Weird Loners are as good as gone.
