The pilot pickups have been slow so far in the week before upfronts which means we'll have a very busy end of the week and weekend with news. However, CBS made one early move by picking up the superhero drama Supergirl. It had been rumored that the show was already picked up but that wasn't the case and it didn't become official until today. It'll be interesting to see where CBS schedules this show as it doesn't really fit with their current crop of shows. It's a big swing for CBS and probably a good move.
