FOX has finally finished off its series orders by picking up two more dramas: Minority Report and Lucifer. These pickups leave the hot pilot Studio City in the dust, but FOX will reportedly revisit it after Upfronts.
Minority Report is based on the hit 2002 movie starring Tom Cruise. Turning movies into TV shows is quite a thing this year with Uncle Buck, Limitless, Rush Hour, and now this. The TV Report is set 10 years after the film centered on a "pre-cog" from the film who is trying to live a normal life but is haunted by visions from the future. The show stars Meagan Good, Stark Sands, Wilmer Valderrama, Daniel London, Laura Regan, Li Jun Li, and Zhane Hall.
Lucifer was not a buzzy pilot but it gained steam at the end. It is based on the DC Comics story and centers on the Lord of Hell resigning from his throne and helping the LAPD punish criminals. The show stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Nicholas Gonzalez, and Scarlett Estevez.
