Thursday night had some new programming on every network but ABC. CBS led the way as The Big Bang Theory was even in viewers and up a tenth in the demo from its last new airing while Two and a Half Men was up a tenth in viewers and even in the demo. Not only did Big Bang beat American Idol in the demo, so did Two and a Half Men. At 9pm, Person of Interest was up four tenths in viewers and down a tenth in the demo despite less competition. On NBC, Community benefited from less competition as it was up half a million viewers and three tenths in the demo. 1600 Penn did not benefit as it was down a tenth in viewers and even in the demo. This show is possibly the biggest bomb of NBC's comedies and probably the only one that doesn't stand a chance of returning. Finally on FOX, American Idol was up half a million viewers and two tenths in the demo while Glee airing at a special time was up 1.6 million viewers and seven tenths in the demo, rebounding nicely from its last new airing.
