On a busy Monday night, CBS aired the NCAA Basketball Championship which saw Kentucky beat Kansas. It was up eight tenths in viewers and half a demo point from last year's championship. Despite the big numbers, the competition wasn't affected terribly though lots of shows were down. Over on ABC, Dancing with the Stars was down 1.1 million viewers and three tenths in the demo. The long running reality show seems to skew older with each passing edition. At 10pm, Castle was down two tenths in viewers and the demo, tying Smash in the demo category despite nearly doubling the viewers.

Over on NBC, The Voice was down 1.2 million viewers and four tenths in the demo. The good news is that it's still above a 4 in the demo. The bad news is that it has dropped for four consecutive weeks. It's a force for NBC but it's not overtaking American Idol yet despite how things looked early. At 10pm, Smash was down a tenth in viewers but even in the demo, holding up well and tying Castle in the demo. Over on FOX, Bones made a successful return to Mondays, posting decent numbers against two reality show hits. It wouldn't be surprising at all to see Bones keep this slot in the fall. At 9pm, House was up eight tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo from its last airing two weeks ago, which was at 8pm.
