On Monday night, NBC was on top as it always in on Mondays. At 8pm, The Voice kicked off its battle rounds and was down two tenths in viewers and the demo. The best news by far came for Blindspot, which was down six tenths in viewers but up a tenth in the demo despite the lead-in being down. For the drama, this was a much needed stabilization in week four and it certainly justified the full season order it received last week. On the other side of the spectrum, FOX was at least steady with last week. Gotham was down a tenth in viewers and even in the demo while Minority Report was dead even after getting its episode order cut to 10 episodes.

On CBS, The Big Bang Theory was down four tenths in viewers and even in the demo. Life in Pieces inched down again as it was down 1.1 million viewers and a tenth in the demo for a new series low. Even with the date getting closer, I'm still skeptical this will ever move to Thursdays. At 9pm, Scorpion was down six tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo, tying the series low set two weeks ago. NCIS: Los Angeles followed its run of three straight 1.2 demos by dropping down a tenth to a new series low. It was up half a million viewers, however. Finally on ABC, Dancing with the Stars was down two tenths in viewers and even in the demo while Castle mimicked NCIS: Los Angeles by going down a tenth in the demo after three even weeks and hitting a new series low.

WINNER OF THE NIGHT: Blindspot (NBC)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Castle (ABC)
