I was skeptical heading into the night, but it looks like America really is interested in Bruce Jenner. His sit-down interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC delivered an unbelievable 17.1 million viewers and 5.2 demo. This is ABC's best Friday night showing since 2000 and a huge win for the network. It became a national trending topic and brought more people to TV on a Friday night than we've seen in quite awhile. Earlier in the night, Shark Tank was up 1.4 million viewers and three tenths in the demo as it may have benefited from some pre-tune in to the Jenner interview. Everything else was left in the dust. On CBS, The Amazing Race was up three tenths in viewers and even in the demo. Hawaii Five-0 was down three tenths in viewers and even in the demo. Blue Bloods was down three tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. The viewer total was the worst since May 2013 while the demo was a series low. Finally on NBC, Grimm was up two tenths in viewers and even in the demo while a new Dateline NBC was even with last week's repeat.
WINNER OF THE NIGHT: Bruce Jenner - The Interview (ABC)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Blue Bloods (CBS)
