On Monday night, FOX had the return of Gotham after over a month off and the results were not good. It was down a terrible 1.6 million viewers and half a demo point from its last airing. This was an error on FOX's part. The show was gone long enough to be forgotten about but not long enough to warrant a "re-launch" and the result was a very weak return. I don't know why FOX scheduled this show the way it did. Its return did help The Following slightly. It was up half a million viewers and two tenths in the demo from last week. On ABC, Dancing with the Stars was up a tenth in viewers and two tenths in the demo for a spring high. Things looked a little dire when it premiered to a 2.1 last month but it's been impressively holding up ever since.
On CBS, 2 Broke Girls was dead even with its last airing two weeks ago while Mike & Molly was down two tenths in viewers and even in the demo. At 9pm, Scorpion was up a tenth in viewers and down a tenth in the demo to tie a series low from November. I still wouldn't have guessed Scorpion would still be on the air by now and it's been a solid performer all season. At 10pm, NCIS: Los Angeles was up two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. Finally on NBC, The Voice was dead even with last week while The Night Shift was even in viewers and down a tenth in the demo. It was a pretty steady night for the four networks.
WINNER OF THE NIGHT: Dancing with the Stars (ABC)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Gotham (FOX)
