Monday night had the World Series on FOX and more good ratings but it seemed to have little or no impact on the rest of the broadcast networks. On NBC, The Voice was down half a million viewers and even in the demo while The Blacklist had its first rise of the season as it was up a tenth in viewers and the demo. It is now ahead of Revolution year to year as that show had a 3.0 demo on this night last year (out of a 4.8 for The Voice). It is without the question the biggest new hit of the fall season. Over on ABC, Dancing with the Stars was down a tenth in viewers but up a tenth in the demo while Castle was up a tenth in viewers and two tenths in the demo.

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother was up two tenths in viewers and even in the demo for a fourth straight week. At 8:30pm, 2 Broke Girls was up three tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo for its best demo number since the season premiere. Moving this show back to 8:30pm was clearly the right move. Another repeat of The Big Bang Theory was solid as usual but Mom was down seven tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo after last week's rise. Next week, it will be paired with Mike & Molly, which will have its season premiere. Let's see how compatible Mom is with its third different lead-in of the young season. At 10pm, Hostages was down three tenths in viewers and even in the demo for a fourth straight week.
