In an unsurprising move, ABC has given a full season order to new Tuesday drama Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The spinoff, of sorts, of the Marvel movies debuted to the best demo a new drama has gotten since 2009 at a 4.7. However, week two plummeted to a 3.3 demo and then week three slipped to a 2.9. Still even at a high 2 demo number, it vastly improves an hour for ABC where they have had trouble. It may not be the major event series that some thought it might be but as of now, it's still one of the highest rated dramas on TV. Marvel joins The Blacklist on NBC with a full season order while FOX's Sleepy Hollow has been renewed for next season.
As for the ABC shows, Lucky 7 has already been cancelled and Betrayal is sure to join it soon. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland premiered tonight. On the comedy side, it's not looking too good for Trophy Wife while it's too soon to tell with The Goldbergs, Back in the Game, and Super Fun Night.
