On Monday night, the series premiere of NBC's two week event quiz show The Million Second Quiz got off to a ho-hum start with numbers that are basically the same as usual occupant American Ninja Warrior. Given the amount of promotion this show got, especially during football, NBC had to be expecting better here. Elsewhere, the season finale of Mistresses was down three tenths in the demo from last week as it doesn't end on a good note. A renewal is still up in the air but I think it's likely for next summer. On CBS, the long US Open match led to a late start for Under the Dome and that resulted in a series low ahead of the season finale next week.
