Wednesday night was a night of reality beginnings and endings. As usual, CBS paired the season premiere of Survivor with the season finale of Big Brother. Survivor was down from last fall's premiere number but up from its winter premiere number. Its on a slow decline as the years go on but this is pretty impressive for a show that premiered way back in summer 2000 and has aired two cycles a year ever since. The Big Brother finale was up two tenths from last week and similar to last year's finale numbers. Over on FOX, week two of The X Factor was up a tenth in viewers and even in the demo from its disappointing premiere last week. It's likely to go down next week when more competition arrives. Finally on NBC, the season finale of America's Got Talent was up three tenths from last week.
