On Wednesday night, only NBC had its regular programming but it paid off as everything was up, some substantially. At 8pm, Whitney was up 1.2 million viewers and four tenths in the demo from its last airing for a season high. Guys with Kids was up eight tenths in viewers and three tenths in the demo, hitting a high for this timeslot but it did not manage to build on Whitney. At 9pm, Law & Order: SVU was up a big 1.7 million viewers and six tenths in the demo. The best news came at 10pm though where Chicago Fire was up 1.7 million viewers and half a demo point, hitting a series high and building nicely on the SVU lead-in. NBC should really put some marketing muscle behind this show because it continues to surprise.
