On Thursday night, it was only CBS that had regular programming and it benefited from the lack of competition (though it did have to compete with Star Wars at the movies). The Big Bang Theory, with its big episode, was up 1.9 million viewers and three tenths in the demo for a Thursday high. Life in Pieces was up the same as Big Bang, reaching its best numbers since the series premiere. Retention remains terrible, but this show is holding on. At 9pm, Mom was up 2.1 million viewers and two tenths in the demo for a season high. I think this lineup might do well in January without NFL and limited network competition. At 9:30pm, 2 Broke Girls was up 1.2 million viewers and a tenth in the demo. It is on the move to Wednesdays in January as Angel From Hell will take this slot. At 10pm, Elementary was up nine tenths in viewers and even in the demo.
