Tuesday night had the time period premiere of Utopia and it was a disaster for FOX as the show lost over half its audience from its football lead-in premiere on Sunday. There is just no interest in this show and I have to think it's going to get pulled sooner rather than later though FOX may see how it does against full competition in two weeks (and that's likely to be even worse). It brought down the season finale of Hotel Hell airing on a special night as well. Elsewhere, the season finale of Extreme Weight Loss was up a million viewers and two tenths in the demo from last week's episode, which aired at 9pm. The viewer count was the highest since June 1. This show will be back next summer. CBS aired Big Brother on a special night and it did just as well as it usually does. On NBC, the season finale of Food Fighters was even in viewers and down a tenth in the demo. I think this show has done enough in late summer to earn a second season. At 9pm, America's Got Talent was up eight tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo.
