CBS had a good night on Wednesday with all three shows performing well. At 8pm, Survivor was up three tenths in viewers and even in the demo. At 9pm, Criminal Minds was up eight tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo for its best numbers since the season premiere. At 10pm, CSI was up seven tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo for its best numbers in nearly a month. NBC started with the fall finale of Revolution and it was up two tenths in viewers but down a tenth in the demo. A winter hiatus probably isn't going to help this show, which is already on shaky ground. At 9pm, Law & Order: SVU was down two tenths in viewers and even in the demo. At 10pm, Dateline NBC was down two tenths in viewers and even in the demo.
Over on ABC, The Middle started things off down four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. At 8:30pm, Back in the Game was down four tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo to a series low. This show may not be getting worse numbers than the other freshman sitcoms on Tuesday but its earning its cancellation stripes by being the weak link in the sitcom block. At 9pm, Modern Family was down six tenths in viewers and a rough four tenths in the demo for a season low. It usually doesn't dip down like this until the spring. At 9:30pm, Super Fun Night was down three tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. ABC announced that Suburgatory will take over for Back in the Game in January and Mixology will replace Super Fun Night at the end of February. At 10pm, Nashville was up three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo as its regained a little bit of ground in the last couple weeks. Finally on FOX, The X Factor was down three tenths in viewers and even in the demo.
