On Tuesday night, TV's top summer show premiered for another season and the results were stellar. America's Got Talent on NBC was on par with last year's premiere and towered above everything with a 2.6 demo. It led into the series premiere of variety show Maya & Marty, which only did OK with 6.3 million viewers and a 1.5 demo, below last year's premiere of I Can Do That. It looks like this would be a bomb without its lead-in. On CBS, Person of Interest was up a nice 1.8 million viewers and a tenth in the demo with less competition. ABC saw minimal interest in another night of 500 Questions. Finally on FOX, Hotel Hell was down a tenth in viewers and even in the demo while Coupled was up a tenth in viewers and even in the demo.
