There weren't new shows on Sunday night but there was a showdown between the Miss USA Pageant on NBC and the Daytime Emmy Awards on CBS with NBC being the clear victor. The Miss USA Pageant had its best performance in years while the increasingly obsolete Daytime Emmy Awards was down from last week with a pitiful 0.8 demo. Will a network even carry these awards next year?
