ABC was all new on Friday night with its regular low-rated lineup. At 8pm, Shark Tank was down two tenths in viewers and even in the demo and it is still a slight improvement over Supernanny for the time period. At 9pm, Primetime: What Would You Do? was up two tenths in viewers and the demo from its last airing two weeks ago but right around normal levels. It was followed by 20/20 which was down half a million viewers but even in the demo from last week's two-hour edition.

CBS was all new with its lineup of dramas but they have sprung a major leak at 8pm with new entry Chaos which was down eight tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo from last week's premiere. It is well below what Medium and The Defenders were getting in the same slot earlier this season and now it seems to be bringing down the whole night. It was also in a terrible fourth place in the demo. CBS would be wise to pull it as soon as possible and burn it off later if they so desire. At 9pm, CSI: NY was down seven tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. At 10pm, Blue Bloods was down two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. It's hard to tell if these drops are Chaos's fault but the new addition is certainly not helping.

NBC was all new as well. At 8pm, the season finale of Who Do You Think You Are? was down four tenths in viewers but even in the demo, posting a win in that category despite such a low number. The show has already been renewed for next season but may not appear until the spring again like this year. The final season of Friday Night Lights (which has already aired on DirectTV) will begin airing in this slot next week. At 9pm, Dateline NBC was down half a million viewers and even in the demo from last week. FOX was in repeats and low rated, as expected but the Kitchen Nightmares repeat did manage to beat CBS's Chaos in the demo.
