RENEWAL ALERT: Parks and Recreation

NBC's comedies have had a tough season but one show was always assured a renewal and now it became official - Parks and Recreation was renewed for a sixth season. The show doesn't have great numbers but it's numbers were far better than any other NBC comedy besides the departing The Office. The show is also very critically acclaimed and was always guaranteed to return.

Parks and Recreation joins dramas Chicago Fire, Revolution, Parenthood, Grimm, and Law & Order: SVU as NBC renewals. With several comedies getting the ax, the question is will one get saved and paired with Parks or will it be surrounded by new comedies? We'll know soon enough!
