CANCELLATION ALERT: Touch

In news that came as no surprise to anyone, FOX has cancelled the Kiefer Sutherland drama Touch after two seasons. Last season, the show aired after American Idol and lost a lot of its audience but had good raw numbers. It was moved to Friday this season and then delayed until midseason where it completely tanked, rarely going above 3 million viewers and hovering around a 0.6 demo. It was a complete flop in season two and its fate was certain months ago.

This news comes just as there are rumors that FOX is wanting to bring back Sutherland's hit drama 24 as a limited series. The show ran from 2001-2010 and was always a popular show on FOX. Touch's cancellation leaves just a few shows without official decisions: sure renewals American Idol and Hell's Kitchen, likely renewal Kitchen Nightmares, and likely cancellation The Cleveland Show.
