TV NEWS & THOUGHTS
- NBC will launch the new multi-camera bar comedy Abby's on March 28 at 9:30pm. It will air after Will & Grace for two weeks and then Brooklyn Nine-Nine the rest of the way.

- CBS has renewed The Neighborhood, FBI, and Magnum P.I. for a second season. The first two come as no surprise. The Neighborhood has been a surprisingly potent Monday night comedy while FBI has been fairly compatible with NCIS. Magnum P.I. is more of a surprise although perhaps it shouldn't be given that CBS seems to have tons of faith in it despite its minuscule ratings. It just got the post-AFC Championship Game slot and then promptly proceeded to hit a series low with its next episode the next night.
