On Monday night, Dancing with the Stars premiered a week ahead of the official start to the fall season. It was on par with last year's fall premiere, which was also a week early, and up from the spring premiere. It led into the season finale of The $100,000 Pyramid which didn't do as well away from its Sunday game show partners. On NBC, the season finale of American Ninja Warrior was up a tenth in viewers and a tenth in the demo. At 10pm, Running Wild with Bear Grylls was up three tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. On FOX,  the season finale of forgotten summer show So You Think You Can Dance was down a tenth in viewers and up two tenths in the demo.
