It was a very weak Wednesday night across the networks. NBC was on top with its Christmas in Rockefeller Center/SNL Christmas combo, but that was down significantly from last year. It absolutely annihilated ABC, which saw every show except Nashville hit a season low by at least two tenths. The Middle tied a series low while Black-ish hit an outright low. Modern Family was down a stunning nine tenths from its last airing two weeks ago. What the heck happened here? Is there that much of a shared audience with the NBC specials? On CBS, two hours of Survivor was down two tenths in viewers and even in the demo. The viewer total was a series low while the demo tied last week's series low. Stalker was down eight tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. FOX had pretty dreadful numbers for Hell's Kitchen and Red Band Society, but they were up from last week's series lows.
WINNER OF THE NIGHT: NONE
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: The Middle (ABC)
