The Winter Olympics entered their final days and it seems as Olympic fatigue is settling in as the numbers were way down from last Thursday. However, the lower Olympic totals didn't help American Idol on FOX, which tumbled to a series low. It fell a eight tenths in viewers and a big six tenths in the demo. It won't have the Olympics next week but it will have The Big Bang Theory new again and it lost to a repeat of that show this week. At 9pm, Rake was even in viewers but down another tenth in the demo. At this point it seems as though FOX will at least let it air a week after the Olympics on Thursday but I don't think it'll rebound. Over on ABC, the season finale of The Taste was up a tenth in viewers and even in the demo. I didn't think it would come back for a second season so I have no guesses about a third. However, there won't be the Olympics to compete with so ABC may not want to just toss aside a night like they did with Thursdays this winter. Grey's Anatomy and Scandal return next week.
