Set in Charleston, South Carolina, it centers on an instant attraction between northern litigator Jamie Sawyer (Anna Wood) and southern attorney Roy Rayder (Cam Gigdandet). They are also adversaries in a police sex scandal involving disgraced officer Lee Anne Marcus (Georgina Haig) and dirty cop Terry McCandless (Shawn Hatosy). THE GOOD: I don't have much good to say about this one. It's nice to see a soapy drama like this not set in New York or California, but that doesn't mean it's done well. In this incarnation, Caitlin "Cat" Sullivan (Chyler Leigh) is a cop who doesn't always play by the rules. She enlists the help of a taxi driver (and French fugitive) Leo Romba (Jacky Ido) to help her solve the death of her father. THE GOOD: This show got a little better as the pilot went on. In a move that surprise no one, FOX cancelled unscripted summer show Riot and I Wanna Marry "Harry" after three dismal weeks together. The shows got absolutely no interest and pulled unacceptable numbers, even by summer standards on FOX. The shows will be replaced by reruns of Family Guy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, and The Mindy Project starting this coming Tuesday.
