On Wednesday night, America's Got Talent ended its best season in years with its best performance for a finale since 2011. In today's day and age, this is extremely impressive. It was up a full demo point from last year's finale. This show, which never really faltered badly, has had a major renaissance season. It led into the season premiere of Blindspot before it heads to 8pm next week. It delivered its best numbers since March 28 but I wouldn't say this was all that impressive given the big lead-in. I think it's 8pm move seems pretty doomed. On CBS, Big Brother was even in viewers and down a tenth in the demo. On FOX, the season finale of Masterchef was even with last week.
