On Wednesday night, NBC started things off with Blindspot, which was up a tenth in viewers and the demo. Two hours of Chicago PD followed and was up four tenths in viewers and down a tenth in the demo for a series low. It grew in its regular 10pm slot so it appears that where it belongs. On FOX, Lethal Weapon was down four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo but Empire recovered some from last week's low, rising two tenths in viewers and the demo, which got it back above a 3.0 demo. On the CW, Arrow was down a tenth in viewers and even in the demo while Frequency was down a tenth in viewers and even in the demo for a sixth straight week.

On ABC, The Goldbergs was even in viewers and down a tenth in the demo while Speechless was up a tenth in viewers and even in the demo. At 9pm, Modern Family was up a tenth in viewers and down a tenth in the demo. Black-ish followed and was up three tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. At 10pm, Designated Survivor was down a tenth in viewers and even in the demo. It was around a 1.6 then crashed to 1.2 but has been there for three episodes and still has not gotten anything in-between. Finally on CBS, Survivor was down three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. At 9pm, Criminal Minds was up two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo from last week's series low. Code Black finished off the night down three tenths in viewers and even in the demo. It got an order for three more episodes but that was probably mostly for scheduling purposes.

WINNER OF THE NIGHT: Empire (FOX)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Chicago PD (NBC)
