THE RUNDOWN: Monday, September 19

The Fall season is finally officially here! Tonight brings two series premieres and many other season premieres. The series premieres the new Kevin James sitcom Kevin Can Wait on CBS, airing in its temporary 8:30pm slot after the season premiere of The Big Bang Theory. With the big lead-in and James' built-in appeal, it could have one of the biggest premiere numbers of any fall show. NBC is giving a sneak peek of The Good Place with two episodes at 10pm following the season premiere of The Voice. The Voice could get some added interest with their new coaches and that can only help The Good Place get a good sampling plus the 10pm hour is pretty open. Next week has the first Presidential debate at 9pm so several shows in the later two hours are waiting until October 3 to premiere. CBS is airing the conclusion of their JonBenet Ramsey movie while ABC is going with the season finale of summer game show Match Game. CW is not doing any premieres until October. The only network with their complete regular Monday lineup is FOX with the premieres of Gotham and Lucifer. They should be pretty low but it won't be the worst night for FOX.
