On Tuesday night, The Voice on NBC moved to an hour and felt the effects as it dropped four tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. It led into yet another preview of a new show. This time, it was Heartbeat which didn't get much of a sampling and will likely struggle in its Wednesday 8pm slot. On CBS, NCIS managed to stay at that 2.0 demo threshold yet again as it was up eight tenths in viewers and even in the demo. It has still never gone below a 2.0 demo, but that seems inevitable at some point before the end of the season. At 9pm, NCIS: New Orleans was up a nice 1.4 million viewers and two tenths in the demo as it benefited from not having The Voice in the hour and it won't have it for the rest of the season. At 10pm, Limitless was up a million viewers and two tenths in the demo for its best performance in over a month. We'll see how it does when a new Chicago Fire comes back to the timeslot, however.

On ABC, Fresh Off the Boat remained the lone bright spot for ABC, rising half a million viewers and a tenth in the demo. At 8:30pm, The Real O'Neals was up three tenths in viewers and even in the demo. It has at least been steady since it started on Tuesdays. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is looking pretty pathetic. It was even in viewers and down a tenth in the demo for another series low. It's not much better than Agent Carter at this point. A repeat of Beyond the Tank was not much better than the cancelled Of Kings and Prophets, but it might do better when it has some promotion for airing new episodes. Only New Girl was new for FOX and it was even with last week.

WINNER OF THE NIGHT: NCIS: New Orleans (CBS)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)
