Thursday night had the CBS lineup fully new for the first time in three weeks. At 8pm, The Big Bang Theory was down half a million viewers and even in the demo. It's the only show so far this week that has gotten over 10 million viewers. At 8:30pm, Life in Pieces was up three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo, tying its second highest demo of the season. I think a renewal for this show is pretty much a foregone conclusion. At 9pm, Mom was down half a million viewers and even in the demo. A rerun that aired at 8:30pm last week was just four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo lower. The power of the lead-in! At 9:30pm, Angel From Hell was down four tenths in viewers and even in the demo for a third consecutive week. At 10pm, Elementary was up a tenth in viewers and even in the demo.

Predictably, You, Me, and the Apocalypse collapsed for NBC from its weak debut. It fell 1.5 million viewers and three tenths in the demo to a 0.9. At 9pm, The Blacklist was down six tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo. Shades of Blue fell to a new series low at 10pm, dropping nine tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo. But it got good news today when it was renewed for a second season, with NBC happy with its time-shifted viewing results. ABC had the second and final night of the Madoff miniseries. It was down a bit from Wednesday night and skewed very old. A special that followed at 10pm actually built on the movie in the demo. ABC's TGIT lineup returns next week. Finally on FOX, American Idol was up a tenth in viewers and down a tenth in the demo.

WINNER OF THE NIGHT: The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: You, Me, and the Apocalypse (NBC)
