It was the battle of two specials on Sunday night and ABC came out on top with its Disneyland 60 special that delivered a solid 1.8 demo. Earlier in the night, America's Funniest Home Videos was up four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo for a season high. Meanwhile on NBC, the heavily hyped Friends Reunion James Burrows tribute did not quite live up to expectations. If this had just simply been a Burrows tribute, these were more than acceptable if not excellent numbers but ever since it became all about a Friends reunion, it has gotten a huge amount of hype so this has to be considered disappointing. Earlier in the night for NBC, Dateline was up 1.4 million viewers and three tenths in the demo.

CBS and FOX were close to last week. On CBS, 60 Minutes was up three tenths in viewers and down a tenth in the demo from last week and Madam Secretary was up six tenths in viewers and even in the demo. These shows are holding up OK without football. At 9pm, The Good Wife was down a tenth in viewers and even in the demo while CSI: Cyber was up four tenths in viewers and even in the demo. On FOX, the veteran shows, Bob's Burgers, The Simpsons, and Family Guy were all up a tenth in the demo while the newbies, Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life and Bordertown were even, making them look even worse by comparison.

WINNER OF THE NIGHT: America's Funniest Home Videos (ABC)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Bordertown (FOX)
