THE RUNDOWN: Wednesday, December 2

Wednesday has regular programming on every network except NBC, which has a Christmas-themed night. The annual special Christmas in Rockefeller Center will be followed by How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which NBC is airing this week (usually it's ABC) and then the SNL Christmas special. All three specials should do decently for NBC. FOX has the fall finale of Empire, which will surely rise nicely from Thanksgiving Eve last week, but can it come all the way back? I feel like this is often a down week for ABC sitcoms.

ABC
8:00 The Middle #153 "The Convention"
8:30 The Goldbergs #56 "Wingmom"
9:00 Modern Family #152 "Clean Out Your Junk Drawer"
9:30 Black-ish #33 "Man at Work"
10:00 Nashville #74 "Three's a Crowd"
Prediction: Middle - 7.1 million, 1.9/Goldbergs - 6.9 million, 2.0/Modern - 8.1 million, 2.7/Black-ish - 5.9 million, 1.8/Nashville - 4.2 million, 1.0

CBS
8:00 Survivor
9:00 Criminal Minds #242 "Internal Affairs"
10:00 Code Black #10 "Cardiac Support"
Prediction: Survivor - 8.8 million, 2.0/Criminal - 8.3 million, 1.6/Code - 7.1 million, 1.2

NBC
8:00 Christmas in Rockefeller Center (SPECIAL)
9:00 How the Grinch Stole Christmas (SPECIAL)
9:30 A Saturday Night Live Christmas (SPECIAL)

FOX
8:00 Rosewood #10 "Aortic Atresia and Art Installations"
