A lot of networks had good things to report on Wednesday night. ABC saw each of its comedies rise a tenth in the demo for the Thanksgiving themed night. Among viewers, The Middle was up three tenths, The Goldbergs was even, Modern Family was up two tenths, and Black-ish was up a tenth. At 10pm, Nashville was down two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo to tie its series low. On CBS, Survivor was up a tenth in viewers and even in the demo. Criminal Minds continued its troubling season by dropping four tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo, tying its series low. At 10pm, Code Black was down three tenths in viewers and even in the demo. It has gotten a 1.2 demo for six of the last seven weeks. This show still has not learned its fate one way or another as we haven't gotten any midseason information from CBS.

On FOX, Rosewood was down half a million viewers and up a tenth in the demo. I think this show is just going to get killed when it doesn't get to air with Empire. Empire was up a tenth in viewers and two tenths in the demo for a rare week-to-week rise. Finally on NBC, The Mysteries of Laura was up four tenths in viewers but down a tenth in the demo from its last airing two weeks ago. Law & Order: SVU and Chicago PD both had down weeks. SVU was down a rough 1.5 million viewers and six tenths in the demo from last week, when it got to follow The Voice. At 10pm, Chicago PD was down three tenths in viewers and two tenths in the demo.

WINNER OF THE NIGHT: Empire (FOX)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: Law & Order: SVU (NBC)
