On Friday night, ABC's newest incarnation of its comedy block had a good night thanks to the a solid sampling of newbie Dr. Ken. First at 8pm, Last Man Standing was up three tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo from last week's season premiere. Then Dr. Ken built on Last Man by a nice three tenths in the demo. It also opened above what Cristela premiered with last fall, which is a positive sign since Cristela almost did enough to get a renewal. It will have to face comedy as competition for the first time ever next week when NBC begins its Friday comedy block. At 9pm, Shark Tank was up eight tenths in viewers and even in the demo as this show is already not looking as strong anymore, though its still well above any other Friday show in the demo. At 10pm, 20/20 was down 1.1 million viewers and two tenths in the demo.

It was mostly status quo in week two for CBS. The Amazing Race was up two tenths in viewers and even in the demo. It crashed so hard when it first came to Fridays last fall but it has remained quite stable ever since. Hawaii Five-0 recovered a bit as it was up 1.1 million viewers and a tenth in the demo. I still wouldn't be surprised at all if this is the final season for Hawaii. At 10pm, Blue Bloods continued to dominate in the total viewer count as it was up 1.5 million viewers and even in the demo. Finally on NBC, Dateline NBC was up seven tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo.

WINNER OF THE NIGHT: Dr. Ken (ABC)
LOSER OF THE NIGHT: 20/20 (ABC)
