CANCELLATION ALERT: Stalker, The McCarthys, Battle Creek

CBS still has a lot of shows that have not officially been told their fate but three no-brainers were cancelled today after one season: Stalker, The McCarthys, and Battle Creek.

Perhaps the only one that had any sort of chance was Stalker, which premiered to OK numbers airing after Criminal Minds. It didn't do horrible but it was clearly the weakest of the four dramas CBS premiered in the fall. Though CSI: Cyber hasn't done much better in the same slot (actually the raw numbers have been worse but the lead-ins have been lower), that show seems to have a better chance of returning. Stalker is airing its last couple episodes on Monday nights. The McCarthys was yanked before its episode order was over and Battle Creek has some of the lowest in-season numbers CBS has ever seen so it was a done deal for both of them.
