Wednesday night had two series premieres. On CBS, The Briefcase had a surprisingly decent premiere in a slot where CBS hasn't had much summer success with its early, pre-Big Brother offerings in May and June. On FOX, Masterchef started things up a promising 1.3 million viewers and four tenths in the demo. Less competition, I guess? At 9pm, the series premiere of Bullseye didn't make much of an impression with a weak 1.1 demo, especially considering how Masterchef over-performed. Finally on ABC, 500 Questions, was on the low end as far as its ratings have been going. Still, this has done alright for how it was set up. I wouldn't be surprised to see it back in the future. At 10pm, Celebrity Wife Swap was up two tenths in viewers and a tenth in the demo.
